West Coasters to Compete in Vacuworx International Race
of Champions at 2012 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals
During Tuesday’s opening
night of the 26th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals, several West Coast
racers will participate in the Fourth Annual $2,500-to-win, 20-lap Vacuworx
International Race of Champions, dubbed VIROC IV.
The VIROC IV card will be
part of Tuesday’s Warren CAT Qualifying event, the first of four qualifying
nights that sets the field for the Saturday, January 14 championship finale.
Joining reigning NASCAR
Sprint Cup champion and two-time Chili Bowl champion Tony Stewart in the race
of champions include West Coasters Damion Gardner (Concord, CA) a previous Chili Bowl champion; Cory Kruseman
(Ventura, CA), 2011 USAC-Western States and VRA Midget champion and two-time Chili Bowl winner; California native Bryan Clauson; New Zealand’s Brad Mosen in
Californian Andy Bondio’s #47; Kyle Larson (El Grove, CA); and Jason Leffler
(Long Beach, CA).
