Highlights of the USAC Western Midgets' slate include a return of Midgets to Ocean Speedway in Watsonville after a five-year hiatus on Friday, July 6 for the Howard Kaeding Classic, a return to Santa Maria Speedway after a three-year hiatus, two return races at the famed Silver Dollar Speedway for the Mini Gold Cup and the Gold Cup race of Champions, both on the same bill as the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and the can't-miss Louie Vermeil Classic over Labor Day Weekend at the 1/2-mile Calistoga Speedway.
On the Pavement side, the USAC Western Midgets visit the 1/3-mile Madera Speedway on five occasions.

World of Outlaws Western Tour Dates
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car series recently announced their 2012 series schedule.
As usual, the prestigious Gold Cup Race of Champions returns (this year marks the 59th Annual event) to Chico's Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA the weekend following Labor Day (September 6 through 9) with additional Western stops at USA Raceway in Tuscon, AZ, The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Perris Auto Speedway, Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway, Merced Speedway, Calistoga Speedway, Antioch Speedway, Gray's Harbor Raceway in Washington, Skagit Speedway and Willamette Speedway in Oregon, as well as an early-season stop at SDS for the Mini Gold Cup March 23-24.
